6/7/16 – Several companies are getting closer in the quest to move “cultured meat” from the laboratory to the marketplace, responding to practical and ethical forces, as reported here and here. In anticipation of such a shift, two specialists in sustainable engineering have said in Issues that society should “start thinking about how factory-grown meat might transform our food system, the environment, and even our culture.”
